“I’m very happy to say that I had a wonderful week. My ability to remain focused on my plan “each day” helped me to feel good internally. As a result, I was surprised that I talked about my plan of action to a couple of my close friends. It felt good to be confident at a level where my desire to speak about it came out naturally with no hesitation. It’s a healthy confidence where I’m choosing to think positive in terms of mind over matter. I’m staying mentally alert and ready to knock out the stinking thinking and negativity when its head peeks around the corner. Yes mam, I agree with you, I CAN DO THIS and I AM WORTH IT!!

I tracked my food this week successfully! We went out to dinner and I patiently planned my meal a full day in advance by patiently studying the restaurant’s nutrition list here at home. I had to eliminate something I really wanted because there was no way around throwing my daily count offline. It was worth doing the right thing because I felt very satisfied after eating my meal with no regret in the end.

My activity goal was also a success! I did something each day as planned. After telling my friends about the efforts my husband made to lay the wooden floor and the equipment I have, there was no way I could make an excuse not to exercise daily. Learning how to be realistic with myself and my abilities makes it easier for me to appreciate the efforts I’m making.

So….. thank you again for listening and guiding me on this journey. Today is a new day and I’m on way to get it started!!”

"I didn’t know I needed a life coach, until it changed my life. I met Kathleen Paulbeck at the Trenton Summer Festival.  I was familiar with the term life coach but, I thought it was for someone searching for a career change or someone recovering from a tragedy.  She filled me in on what a “session” could be and she even mentioned how life coaching can help with health and weight loss.  Sold!  I have been trying tons of diets and nothing was working, I had nothing to lose! 

After an initial introduction and a review of my health history we dove into her practice.  I thought she would give me some weight loss tips and ideas to help me work out.  It was so, so, much more.  We explored why I make the choices I make, what drives me, how my thoughts and feelings shape who I am.  When we would discover a significant thought or feeling, she gave me very practical ways to incorporate a plan of action to either recover from a hurtful feeling or build up a good feeling.  Every coaching session with Kathleen revealed an “Ah-Ha” moment that I could grow and change from.  I would hear Kathleen’s voice in my head during the week when I was faced with a challenge.  She would say, “How do you feel about that?”, and I would trust my new form of decision making.  I learned to control anger, establish boundaries, and trust my instincts.  I learned a lot more about weight loss, because my issues come from a very deep corner of my mind, and Kathleen helped me find that."

Even though Kathleen has been my Life Coach for only the past two months, I have felt a difference in myself with how I see daily life & the choices that I make.  I am happier around others. I always feel much better about myself after our sessions.  I have the feeling that I can do anything because of her guiding me towards changing the struggles I deal with on a daily basis.  

I enjoy the time limits she gives me for short term goals, because I can tell her about them & she makes me feel good that I have accomplished them.  I feel ten times better knowing that I can do something because she has given me a sense of belief in myself.  She has made me realize that I can make better decisions, but I may just need some guidance.  Being a person who has always had low self-esteem, I am now slowly gaining confidence in what I am doing.

I feel Kathleen is my own personal cheerleader.  At first, I wasn't sure how I was going to do during our sessions, but I love them.  I feel in time I will be able to get through more obstacles in my life that create stress for me.  She is always encouraging me to be a better person and that I am worth it.  I appreciate all that she has helped me accomplish in this short period of time & will continue to work on my struggling areas. Sometimes I need to just stop, enjoy the moment & take it all in!

I met Kathleen, and she was very easy to open up to and work with regarding my goals of exercise and stress reduction/time management skills.

I had such a tight schedule with work and other engagements that I had no free time.  I have now taken control over my schedule and not letting other people dictate my schedule.  It was a step in taking control over my life and Kathleen helped me reach this point.  planning fun time and vacation time now became a priority.

This has been a life changing process for me.  We generally set small goals for each two week period.  These small goals have added up to something significant.  I joined a gym within two weeks of starting the coaching and got a personal trainer within one month.  I also got a new racing bike that fits me specifically and really enjoy it.  Life coaching can help anyone with achieving their goals.

I need to take care of my physical well-being in order to help others.  Earlier in February in the midst of this worst winter in 100 years I was highly stressed.  This has changed 180 degrees. Don't be afraid, be open to the concept of life coaching. Sometimes it makes you put things in perspective in your life which will bring you great joy!
